Privacy policy

Migraine Journal is a personal wellness journal that stays on your iPhone.

Data collected by the developer

We do not collect, sell, share, or upload personal data. There is no account, no backend, no advertising, no analytics, and no crash service that receives journal content.

What stays on your iPhone

Journal entries (times, phase checklists, severity, and notes) are stored in an on-device SwiftData database. Optional Face ID / passcode lock and the Appearance setting are preference flags only.

The app does not enable iCloud, CloudKit, or HealthKit.

App lock

Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode can be required to open the journal. This is off by default. Biometrics stay with the system. The app never sees or stores your Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.

Backups and deletion

The app does not sync. If you want a copy, use Settings → Share PDF or Share CSV. iOS Share Sheet lets you choose where the file goes. Those destinations are outside this app.

Delete journal entries with Settings → Delete all check-ins, or delete the app. Deleting the app deletes the on-device journal.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not collect data from anyone.

This is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical care.
